# How to Disable Band Steering on your CBN-CH8568

## Open your web browser and type in. http://192.168.0.1/ in the address bar. Enter the administrative username and password (located on the right side of the modem - username is cusadmin) in the Username and Password fields, then click Continue.

1\. Click **Wireless**

2\. Click **Wireless Signal**

3\. Select **Disable** under **Wireless Band Steering**

4\. Click **Apply Changes**

### **How to Rename your 2.4G and 5G Networks on your CBN-CH8568**

1\. Click **Wireless**

2\. Click **Security**

3\. Change the names for your **2.4G Wifi and 5G Wifi SSID** (We strongly suggest you name the SSID's different for both. Maybe Adding 5G in the name of your 5G Wifi **SSID.** 

4\. Click **Apply Changes**
