If you need to restore your modem to default settings, you can do so by performing a pinhole reset or through the Admin interface. This will delete all of your custom configurations.

Reset using the pinhole

  2. Push and hold the button with a paperclip or pin and hold for 15 seconds.
  3. If completed successfully, the lights on the modem will begin to flash and eventually come online.

Reset through the Admin interface

  1. Open a web browser and type 192.168.0.1 in the address bar and press Enter.

  2. Enter the following to access the modem settings:

    • Username: cusadmin

    • Password: password (or your current Wi-Fi password)

  3. Select Login.

    • If you’re unable to log in to the Admin interface, follow the ‘reset button’ method above to reset your modem.

  4. Select Admin.

  5. Select Device Reset.

  6. Select Factory Reset to reset the device.

  7. Once the modem is finished restarting and is online the settings will be back to default. At this stage you’ll need to set it up again manually.
